Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS and minimum 15 years' budget management experience; additional 4 years may substitute for degree
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Business/Financial background
• Experience navigating full federal budget cycle with customer experience
• Strong understanding of financial systems and processes
• Experience in financial oversight: budgeting, funding requests, expenditure tracking, projections
• Expertise in financial reporting: building/running reports, briefing executives
• Experience creating financial rhythms and leading financial meetings
• Strong communication and ability to respond to spontaneous management requests for budget status
• Central POC for group financial transactions including funding packages and closeout actions
• Excellent Excel proficiency
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter requiring minimal oversight for independent projects
• Desired: Bachelor's or Masters in Business or Finance
• On-site customer-domain experience
• Ability to interface with multiple stakeholders of various seniorities
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

• Perform finance reporting and analysis
• Validate portfolio of assets and support services
• Spend tracking, analysis, and budget baseline management
• Manage program budgets and control costs
• Review, audit and concur on customer actions and requests
• Complete daily spend plan: review, reconcile, coordinate inputs
• Provide weekly budget status emails to stakeholders
• Coordinate with budget/plans team for spend plan execution
