Job summary

Peraton in Herndon, Virginia seeks a Program Financial Analyst to support a major Space Sector program. The role requires complex budget and schedule analysis to meet contractual demands, collaborating with the program management team to oversee the program’s financials.

Responsibilities include spend plan development, ET&C estimates, monthly reports, invoicing coordination, variance analysis and AR/billing management, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, IT, Information Management or related field with 8+ years experience or Master’s with 6+ years experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass polygraph.
• 4+ years of advanced Excel experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• U.S. Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Support development, updates and review of the program spend plan monthly, including ETC estimates.
• Compile Monthly Contract Status Reports; present program financials in monthly reviews.
• Coordinate with billing to ensure prompt, accurate monthly invoicing.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and act as technical lead on financial analysis issues.
• Manage program Accounts Receivable, invoicing and unbilled analysis; resolve billing issues.
• Monitor spend vs. plan and report overruns/underruns; ensure charges reflect labor hours, rates and ODCs.
