Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst - Corporate Accounting to strengthen the accounting, financial reporting, and control environment across Finance and the broader organization. You will help ensure timely close, accurate reporting, and strong internal controls while contributing to strategic Finance initiatives.

You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, and support process improvements through automation and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
• CPA certification or MBA a plus but not required.
• Minimum 2 years in accounting department and/or public accounting.
• Experience in publicly traded company, bank, financial services institution, or wealth management preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of banking and wealth management products and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and strong communication; able to automate/process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, record, and review journal entries.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research and resolve reconciling items per policy.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for variances.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate on accounting matters with business partners.
• Drive process improvements using automation and data analytics.
• Support SOX compliance including documentation and control testing.
