Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Financial Strategy Manager to lead financial planning and strategic analytics for the Retail Products & Services Division. You will oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance insights across deposits, lending, and card products, while partnering with Product, Operations, Risk, and Finance leaders.

The role demands deep financial modeling, executive storytelling, and strong vendor/contract governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, related field, or equivalent experience required.
Eight (8)+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, FP&A, product finance, or related strategic financial roles required.
Experience in financial services (deposits, lending, cards, or similar regulated environment) required.
Ability to translate complex data into simple, compelling narratives required.
Experience supporting portfolios spanning deposits, consumer lending, small business lending, and/or credit cards.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior financial leader and strategic advisor for the Retail Products & Services Division.
Oversee a broad portfolio including deposits, lending, cards, and enabling functions.
Provide division-wide forecasting, budgeting, performance monitoring, and executive reporting.
Develop financial insights with division leadership to guide prioritization, investment, and resource allocation.
Contribute to vendor and contract negotiations, and governance of spend and invoicing.
Support governance documentation, dashboards, and financial models for strategic goals.
