Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Deposit & Lending Products Strategy Manager to lead the strategy, development, and performance of the bank's deposit products and retail lending portfolio. You will guide Product Managers to drive growth, improve the customer experience, and ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires extensive experience in retail banking product management, leadership, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, economics, or related field required.
7+ years of retail banking product management experience for deposits and/or consumer and small business lending.
MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience with Agile methodologies, digital product development, or modern customer engagement strategies is a plus.
Additional coursework in technical fields like CS or statistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Leads the team responsible for strategy, development, and performance of the Bank’s deposit products and retail lending portfolio.
Guides a team of Product Managers to drive portfolio growth and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Strengthens competitive positioning and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
Oversees cross‑functional collaboration, P&L management, and lifecycle optimization.
