Uber seeks a Director of Internal Audit to lead the Regulatory, Legal, and Public Policy risk portfolio. You will translate emerging regulatory developments into an audit strategy, oversee high-impact assurance engagements, and collaborate with Legal, Public Policy, and Compliance to strengthen governance and risk management.

The role requires executive presence, strong communication, and a track record of building high-performing teams in a global tech environment.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, regulatory risk, compliance assurance, enterprise risk management, or related disciplines
• 8+ years of people leadership experience, with demonstrated success developing high-performing teams and delivering results through others

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead the strategy, risk assessment, priorities, and performance of the regulatory, legal, and public policy audit portfolio, aligning coverage with Uber's evolving priorities.
• Oversee complex assurance and advisory engagements across areas like platform and gig labor regulations, AI governance, privacy, and consumer protection.
• Influence senior leadership by building trusted relationships and translating regulatory issues into actionable risk insights.
• Build a high-performing team, coach auditors, and advance use of data analytics and automation in risk assessment.
