Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our finance organization in Dallas. The role supports financial reporting, technical accounting, and SEC reporting activities within a public company environment, relying on a strong technical accounting background in impairment, hedge, and lease accounting.

The ideal candidate has prior Big Four public accounting firm experience and/or public company experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Expertise in hedge accounting, lease accounting, and impairment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support financial reporting and technical accounting initiatives.
• Apply technical accounting guidance to complex business transactions and financial activities.
• Oversee accounting and reporting related to impairment, hedge, and lease accounting.
• Assist with SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, and related disclosures.
• Research and interpret accounting standards to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with finance and accounting leadership to address technical accounting and reporting matters.
• Support special projects, process improvements, and strategic financial reporting initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and internal controls related to financial reporting and compliance activities.
