Job summary

CountryPlace Mortgage, a Cavco Company, is hiring a Financial Reporting Manager for our Plano, TX office. The role leads the preparation and analysis of the company’s financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance.

You will work with the Controller, accounting team, and external auditors, serving as a technical accounting resource and guiding approach to new standards and complex transactions.

Qualifications

• CPA license and high proficiency in U.S. GAAP
• Strong experience in financial statement preparation and reporting
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP
• Prepare footnotes and disclosures for quarterly SEC filings
• Develop cash flow modelling and forecasts for loans portfolios
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
• maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting
• document accounting policies and respond to auditor requests
