Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Financial Data & Reporting Analyst to deliver high-quality financial and operational reporting for Financial Services clients, partnering with management and executives to support strategic decision-making and client performance.

You will standardize reporting, ensure data integrity, perform forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting, and lead the reporting workstream for client implementations, while supporting AI, automation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or analytics.
• 2+ years in data/financial analysis, reporting, or similar role.
• Experience turning data insights into business recommendations.
• Hands-on with Power BI and SQL for reports and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver recurring and ad-hoc financial and operational reports.
• Analyze variances, forecast results, and assess drivers against plans.
• Design and validate SQL-based queries and Power BI dashboards.
• Support client implementations and data governance initiatives.
• Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights.
• Assist in accounting-related vendor/client billing and structure maintenance.
