Job summary

CalOptima is seeking a Financial Analyst III (Financial Reporting) to join our accounting team. The role focuses on preparing comprehensive monthly financial reports and statutory filings, with reporting to executives and the Board of Directors.

Telework is approved with California residency requirements; occasional in-office presence in Orange, CA is required for partial telework. The candidate will maintain the GL COA, support audits, and deliver data-driven insights using Power BI and Dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
• 3 years of experience in financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements.
• 5 years of experience in managed health care, medical group, hospital or health plan setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex monthly financial reports for Board of Directors and executives.
• Compile statutory financial reporting for state, federal and other regulatory agencies.
• Maintain GL chart of accounts and reporting libraries in financial software.
• Build and update financial reports using Solver and Power BI.
