Job summary

CalOptima in Orange, CA is seeking a Clinical Data & Reporting Analyst (Sr) to design, develop and maintain clinical reporting data assets. The role covers data acquisition, mapping, pipelines, and reporting using SQL, Power BI and Snowflake with partial telework within California.

You will partner with IT, clinical stakeholders and providers to deliver dashboards, regulatory reports and AI-enabled analytics, while ensuring data quality and conformed models across gold/silver layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of data/analytics engineering or clinical reporting experience.
• 3+ years of experience with healthcare payer data and SQL-based transformations.
• 3+ years designing data models, pipelines and reporting-ready datasets; experience with Snowflake or cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain clinical reporting data assets to support business needs.
• Develop dashboards, self-service and AI-enabled analytics using SQL and BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance and compliant delivery.
