Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a well-established manufacturing company in North Austin to identify a Senior Financial Analyst. This role focuses on FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and building complex financial models to support strategic decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/BI familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions.
• Partner with plant leadership and operations to analyze costs, inventory, labor, and profitability.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and identify key business drivers.
• Create executive-level reporting packages and present findings to senior leadership.
• Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling and financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Assist with capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.

The ideal candidate will bring strong FP&A experience, advanced modeling skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, or plant operations is highly preferred. Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions
• Partner with plant leadership and operations teams to analyze production costs, inventory, labor, and profitability
• Perform monthly variance analysis and identify key business drivers
• Analyze inventory trends, material costs, overhead absorption, and manufacturing performance metrics
• Create executive-level reporting packages and present findings to senior leadership
• Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling and financial analysis
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies
• Assist with capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, or similar platforms
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools preferred
• Ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
