Grant Thornton is seeking a Financial Due Diligence Director to lead buy-side and sell-side engagements for middle-market transactions across diverse industries from our Newport Beach, CA area. You will manage engagements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor staff while delivering high-quality earnings and working capital insights.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or equivalent, 10+ years in advisory/consulting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience in consulting or cross-industry practice.
• CPA or related license/certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, and M&A advisory services.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead buy-side and sell-side engagements for middle-market transactions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and leverage other service lines.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact; lead meetings and calls.
• Plan, direct, and complete financial due diligence across industries.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations.
• Mentor and develop staff; drive business development and proposals.
