Job summary

American Family Insurance seeks a Senior Financial Cost-Benefit Analyst to drive financial analyses and cost-benefit evaluations for Claims and Legal initiatives. You will model investments, validate benefits, and support decisions with senior leadership in a hybrid role based in Madison, WI or Boston, MA.

Role includes frequent collaboration with Finance and divisional leaders, travel up to moderate levels, and relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer-driven solutions.
• Experience with financial statements and management reporting.
• Experience with complex financial and operational analysis.
• Knowledge of forecasting techniques, statistics, data modeling and data mining.
• Knowledge of insurance accounting and operations.

Responsibilities

• You will lead the planning and development of complex and/or strategic analyses for business partners and divisional leadership.
• You will present analyses to divisional leadership and occasionally to executive leadership.
• You will utilize advanced modeling to analyze financial and growth implications.
• You will use data mining to uncover relationships that drive decisions.
• You will develop comprehensive management reports for all levels of management.
• You will work with leadership to develop metrics to assess performance and opportunities.
• You will participate as the financial expert on cross-functional teams.
