American Family Insurance is seeking a Senior Financial Cost-Benefit Analyst to provide financial analysis and cost-benefit evaluation for Claims and Legal initiatives. You will model benefits and support investment decisions, reporting to the Sr. Manager, FP&A.

This hybrid role requires at least 10 days per month from Madison, WI or Boston, MA. The position emphasizes advanced modeling, data mining, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-driven solutions or service.
• Experience with financial statements and management reporting.
• Experience with complex financial and operational analysis.
• Strong forecasting, statistical analysis, data modeling and data mining.
• Knowledge of insurance accounting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and development of complex and strategic analyses for business partners and divisional leadership.
• Represent the division in presentations to divisional leadership and executive leadership.
• Utilize advanced modeling to analyze financial and growth implications of various solutions.
• Apply data mining and statistical techniques to drive decisions.
• Research, design and develop more complex management reports for all levels of management.
• Collaborate with divisional leadership to determine metrics to assess performance.
• Participate as the financial expert on cross-functional teams.
