Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with an established national organization to recruit a senior accounting leader for its New York City team. Reporting to the CFO, this position will oversee the accounting function, lead an experienced team, and help shape how the organization manages financial reporting, controls, and accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience as Controller or senior accounting leader in a mid-sized or large organization.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and staff development ability.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close and GAAP reporting.
• Lead external audits and maintain internal controls.
• Manage payables, receivables, payroll, cash, fixed assets, and other accounting activities.
• Partner with FP&A, technology, and operations to inform decisions.
• Lead acquisitions accounting and integration support.
• Provide executive-level reporting to CFO and board.
