Job summary

Transamerica, a leading financial services company, seeks a seasoned professional to lead consolidation, financial reporting, and analysis within the Global Consolidation and Corporate Reporting organization. You will apply accounting knowledge and professional judgment to ensure accurate, complete consolidated reporting and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with finance teams worldwide, supporting subsidiaries’ accounting close, and assisting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Eight years of experience, with degree.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidation activities, financial reporting schedules, analyses, and documentation.
• Coordinate with domestic and international finance teams to support timely, accurate reporting.
• Support accounting and reporting activities related to investments in subsidiaries and other entities through analyses and reconciliations.
• Perform analyses of consolidated financial results and communicate key observations to management.
• Maintain reporting instructions and process materials.
• Execute control activities supporting reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Support internal and external audit activities through documentation and inquiries.
