Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a seasoned professional to serve in Global Consolidation and Corporate Reporting. The role focuses on accounting, financial reporting, and analysis to ensure integrity and completeness of consolidated statements while enabling process improvements and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating with finance teams globally, supporting investments in subsidiaries, and assisting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
• Eight years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Written/verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidation activities, financial reporting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with domestic and international finance teams to support timely, accurate reporting of financial information.
• Support accounting and reporting activities related to investments in subsidiaries and other legal entities through analyses, reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and elimination entries.
• Perform analyses of consolidated financial results and communicate key observations, trends, risks, and issues to management.
• Maintain reporting instructions, reporting documentation, and supporting process materials.
• Execute control activities supporting the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audit activities through preparation of documentation, analyses, and responses to inquiries.
