Job summary

Per Scholas seeks a Financial Coach to empower Leaners and Alumni toward financial stability through one-on-one coaching, group education, and resource navigation. You will guide budgeting, savings, and debt strategies while documenting goals and outcomes in Salesforce.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, AFC or equivalent certification, and 2–4 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time hybrid position with on-site work required periodically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Financial Coaching certification or license required (e.g., AFC® or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Financial Coaching to Learners and Alumni, focusing on financial goal-setting, behavior change, and long-term financial wellness.
• Help Learners effectively manage credit, debt, personal banking, and daily money management.
• Support learners in developing personalized financial action plans, including budgets, savings goals, credit repair strategies, and debt repayment plans.
