Job summary

IMDiversity is seeking a Financial Analyst III to support Austin Housing's Asset Management, Compliance, and Monitoring Division. The role focuses on budget development, financial analysis, and monitoring of affordable multi-family portfolios.

You will coordinate budgets, track variances, and develop models to assist in decision-making. The position requires strong analytical skills, real estate knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and financial systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with 4 years of related experience.
Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
CPA designation may substitute for one year of experience.
Experience in real estate operations or development preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with development of department operating or CIP budget.
Conduct budget analysis and prepare variance reports.
Prepare financial analyses and ad-hoc reports from multiple systems.
Monitor debt service schedules and debt administration.
Support CIP projects and track task orders in financial systems.
Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
Ensure transactions comply with City policies, regulations, and sound practices.
Provide financial information to management and respond to inquiries.
