Job summary

National Community Renaissance is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support a large affordable housing portfolio. You will build and maintain financial models, participate in financial reviews, and assist with funding applications and transactions.

The role involves due diligence for acquisitions, operational analyses, and creating reports for executive leadership and external agencies. Strong Excel skills, integrity, and confidentiality are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting required or preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions, asset management, or affordable housing financing, with LIHTC familiarity.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Smartsheet and/or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed financial models with high accuracy, including ad hoc and recurring reports.
• Assist in quarterly, monthly, and annual financial reviews, tracking metrics and asset evaluations.
• Support funding applications, refinancings, and resyndications; perform analyses for transactions.
• Assist feasibility reviews and due diligence for prospective acquisitions.
• Research operational performance; compare with industry trends.
• Conduct periodic site visits of CORE properties and potential sites.
• Prepare reports for Executive Leadership Team, Board, committees, and external agencies.
