Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to shape FP&A for a medical aesthetics and medical devices company in Irvine. You will build models, forecast performance, and produce actionable insights that drive strategic decisions in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Ability to build forecasting models and provide actionable insights from complex data.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with track record of building scalable FP&A processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to track company performance, spending, and growth against budget and forecast.
• Prepare monthly budget-versus-actual reports, investigate variances, and explain drivers behind performance.
• Support forecasting, annual budgeting, and quarterly financial planning.
• Track key financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities to improve performance.
• Analyze operating expenses at the general ledger, account, and cost center levels.
• Query ERP and data warehouse datasets using SQL and Snowflake to develop automated reporting and dashboards.
• Build scalable FP&A processes and reporting infrastructure as the business grows.
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, trend analysis, and management reporting.
• Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Respond to ad hoc financial and analytical requests that help leadership make informed business decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Medical device, medical aesthetics, dermatology, injectables, healthcare, life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, and data analysis.
• A proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to build processes in a growing environment.

Nice to Have

• Strong accounting foundation, including general ledger knowledge and an understanding of financial statements.
• Experience building FP&A processes and reporting infrastructure from scratch.
