Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in Warrendale, PA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide accounting guidance and drive financial reporting for the division.

You will partner with leadership, monitor key metrics, and ensure accurate cost and revenue recognition across manufacturing and G&A budgets. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting methods including cost accounting, financial analysis and US GAAP.
• Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial partners.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and on multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting guidance, analysis, and direction regarding divisional strategy, initiatives, and operations to Division leadership.
• Monitor, analyze and prepare financial reporting of monthly results and key performance indicators.
• Process financial transactions and journal entries supporting monthly financial closings.
• Assure GAAP compliance related to project invoicing, currency exchange, revenue and cost forecasting and recognition.
• Plan and lead the division’s annual physical inventory counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform inventory analysis to improve inventory accounting.
• Ensure accuracy of product cost information and cost control in manufacturing and G&A budgets.
• Provide financial data to support annual business planning.
• Advise and train analysts on data capture and system entry methods.
• Support a professional image of the Division with customers, vendors and internal departments.
