Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – II, Accounts Payable to partner with the AP Director and cross-functional teams. You will improve processes, controls and reporting, preparing weekly and monthly management reports and analytics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years Finance/Accounting experience, preferably in retail
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Understanding of Accounts Payable, policies
• Strong communication with management and peers
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel and MicroStrategy

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly AP reporting for management.
• Complete ad-hoc reporting for AP/Finance Leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Provide financial insights to drive business results and optimize reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP.
• Oversee timely and accurate financial close responsibilities.
• Support audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Develop financial models and templates in Excel.
• Assist with team training and cross-functional collaboration.
• Escalate and resolve issues proactively.
