Job summary

The Crosby Company of New Hampshire LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I to provide line finance support, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for multiple business units and partners.

The role reports to the Head of Finance and requires 5+ years of corporate finance experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office to deliver timely, accurate reporting and decision support.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including corporate financial analysis and planning.
• Prior experience preparing budgets and other financial reporting for management.
• Prior experience with financial strategy and requirements analysis desired.

Responsibilities

• Line Finance support for various business units and business partners in the Family Office and Foundations including decision support, reporting, and planning.
• Create scenarios and financial analysis to help management understand financial results and make business decisions.
• Provide financial due diligence analysis for various organizations and vendors.
• Keep current with technical skills and industry knowledge base.
• Prepare financial reporting for internal and external purposes, including monthly and quarterly management reporting, asset reporting, quarterly scorecard, and corporate fee calculations and invoicing.
• Participate in the annual budget preparation process for supported businesses and consolidated results.
• Ownership of financial models and calculations; prepare executive presentation materials.
• Support Data Strategy and Finance Transformation initiatives and contribute to Reporting Center of Excellence priorities.

The Crosby Company of New Hampshire provides administrative and advisory services including investment, finance, technology, risk management, human resources, compliance, curatorial, and trust oversight services to various family office entities.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst I has reporting, analysis, and planning responsibilities for the businesses and leaders the position supports. The position requires the ability to work with all levels of management and staff and produce complete and accurate analytical work on a timely basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Line Finance Support

• Line Finance support for various business units and business partners in the Family Office and Foundations including decision support, reporting, and planning.
• Create scenarios and financial analysis to help management understand financial results and make business decisions.
• Provide financial due diligence analysis for various organizations and vendors.
• Keep current with technical skills and industry knowledge base

Business Finance Support

• Prepare financial reporting for internal and external purposes, not limited to:
  • Monthly and quarterly management reporting, highlighting budget and prior-year variances, key drivers, and risks and opportunities
  • Asset Reporting
  • Quarterly Scorecard
  • Corporate Fee calculations and invoicing

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Participate in the annual budget preparation process for supported businesses and consolidated results
  • Ownership of financial models and calculations
  • Prepare executive presentation materials

Finance Team and Corporate Business Initiatives

• Support Data Strategy and Finance Transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to Reporting Center of Excellence priorities.
• Advance broader finance and accounting initiatives as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including corporate financial analysis and planning. Trust and partnership reporting experience desired.
• Prior experience preparing budgets and other financial reporting for management required.
• Prior experience with financial strategy and requirements analysis desired.
