Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Planning & Control team in a hybrid San Diego environment.

The role supports budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation, delivering insights to drive informed business decisions and growth. The ideal candidate combines accounting and financial analysis expertise with strong collaboration across functions, attention to detail, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant FP&A or finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and build relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Support forecasting and budgeting activities, including financial reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare and consolidate financial and KPI reporting for senior management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support planning and reporting needs.
• Analyze results, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
• Manage FP&A for commission expenses across Consumer and Professional groups.
• Support MDF and journal entries, variances, and tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Provide backup for FP&C activities as needed.
