Job summary

Unity in New York is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to act as a trusted adviser to the business, partnering with finance and accounting to drive planning, analysis, and operational improvements. This role requires curiosity, analytical thinking, and a drive to solve problems across cross-functional teams.

You will support forecasts, budgeting, and close processes, manage key GTM KPIs, and collaborate with Data/BI to enhance dashboards and reporting for executive reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate variances and surface actionable insights.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and responsive.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and large data manipulation skills.
• Experience with AI-powered tools or automation in a professional context is a plus.
• Experience with Adaptive, Workday, Salesforce, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as finance partner supporting leaders across Sales, eCommerce, and Marketing.
• Support end-to-end forecasting, planning, close, and budgeting processes for top-line, headcount, and Opex.
• Maintain, track, and report on GTM KPIs such as ARR, ACV, and active seats; translate insights to partners.
• Partner with Data and BI teams to identify reporting gaps and improve dashboards.
• Prepare materials for executive-level business reviews.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and large data manipulation skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights
• Demonstrated willingness to adopt AI-powered tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and analytical depth. Experience using AI assistants, copilots, or automation tools in a professional context is a plus
• Experience with financial systems (Adaptive, Workday), Salesforce, and Google Suite

Base Salary Range: We determine the base salary range for this role based on your primary work location:

Zone A: $84,000 - $126,000 USD gross

Zone B: $95,000 - $142,400 USD gross

Zone C: $106,700 - $160,100 USD gross

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
