Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking a Senior Transfer Pricing Analyst to join our global tax team in New York. You will report to the Sr.

Transfer Pricing Manager and focus on global TP operations, compliance, controversy and strategy, and simplification through automation. You will prepare quarterly TP calculations and documentation, support tax provisions for US GAAP and statutory reporting, and help drive process improvements.

• Highly organized individual with the ability to manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and coordinate multiple projects.
• Experience in transfer pricing operations.
• Forward-thinking, quick learner of technology and systems including Workday, MS Office, Google Suite, Alteryx, AI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly transfer pricing calculations, journal entries, and invoicing.
• Prepare and drive process innovation in transfer pricing operations (quarterly TP calculations, IC invoice creation, IC agreement maintenance).
• Support and manage all transfer pricing documentation, including CbCR, assisted by external advisers.
• Support tax provision calculations for both US GAAP and statutory financial reporting.
• Support global income tax audits, dispute resolutions, and other controversies.
• Assist with various special tax projects (M&A, Pillar Two, expense allocation, etc.).

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• Experience in transfer pricing operations
• Forward-thinking, quick learner of technology and systems, including, but not limited to, Workday, MS Office, Google Suite, Alteryx, AI, etc.
• Experience in a Big 4 and/or a publicly traded multinational company focused on transfer pricing and/or international tax
• You might also have Self-starter with drive and team player
• Advanced degree in economics, tax, or accounting from a top university
• Ability to accurately identify problems and apply efficient problem-solving skills to drive resolution
• Transfer pricing and technology enthusiast who seeks to streamline operations

Base Salary Range: We determine the base salary range for this role based on your primary work location: Zone A: $84,000 - $126,000 USD gross Zone B: $95,000 - $142,400 USD gross Zone C: $106,700 - $160,100 USD gross This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
