Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking a Senior Transfer Pricing Analyst to join our global tax team and help manage transfer pricing operations, compliance, and strategy.

You will prepare quarterly TP calculations, invoicing, and documentation (CbCR), support US GAAP tax provisions, and assist with audits and special projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in transfer pricing operations.
• Big 4 or multinational exposure in TP or international tax.
• Advanced degree in economics, tax, or accounting from a top university.
• Strong technical aptitude with modern tax software and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly transfer pricing calculations, journal entries, and invoicing.
• Drive process innovation in TP operations (quarterly TP calculations, IC invoicing, IC agreement maintenance).
• Support and manage TP documentation including CbCR, with external advisers as needed.
• Support tax provision calculations for US GAAP and statutory reporting.
• Assist with audits, disputes, and other transfer pricing projects.
• Participate in special projects (M&A, Pillar Two, expense allocation, etc.).

The opportunity

Join Unity and play a pivotal role in our global tax team. As a Senior Transfer Pricing Analyst, you will report to our Sr. Transfer Pricing Manager and focus on global transfer pricing operations and compliance, controversy and strategy, and process improvement through simplification and automation. What you’ll be doing

• Prepare quarterly transfer pricing calculations, journal entries, and invoicing


• Prepare and drive process innovation in transfer pricing operations (quarterly TP calculations, IC invoice creation, IC agreement maintenance)


• Support and manage all transfer pricing documentation, including CbCR, assisted by external advisers


• Support tax provision calculations for both US GAAP and statutory financial reporting.


• Support global income tax audits, dispute resolutions, and other controversies


• Assist with various special tax projects (M&A, Pillar Two, expense allocation, etc.)

What we’re looking for

• Highly organized individual with a proven ability to effectively manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously


• Experience in transfer pricing operations


• Forward-thinking, quick learner of technology and systems, including, but not limited to, Workday, MS Office, Google Suite, Alteryx, AI, etc.


• Experience in a Big 4 and/or a publicly traded multinational company focused on transfer pricing and/or international tax

Base Salary Range: We determine the base salary range for this role based on your primary work location:

Zone A: $84,000 - $126,000 USD gross

Zone B: $95,000 - $142,400 USD gross

Zone C: $106,700 - $160,100 USD gross

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
