Amazon Advertising team seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance department to support the APAC Global Growth Sales team. The role will work closely with leadership in both finance and business teams in creation of advertiser insights, process improvement, and driving controllership. As the finance partner to the business, the role will also work on providing insightful analysis and financial guidance to the business. Together with the business, this role is responsible for identifying process and efficiency gaps, driving operational improvements, and delivering free-cash-flow expansion for the Amazon Advertising business. Key job responsibilities
Support ongoing financial processes and drive controllership improvement.
Participate in projects that drive efficiency or quality. Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish.
Produce and analyze performance metrics in order to help the business team in setting up appropriate goals and achieving them.
Partner closely with the leader for the Account Management Team to provide financial leadership
Coordinate and drive the weekly, monthly and quarterly Business Review process.
Own quarterly forecast, annual plan and long-range plan of the business.
Uphold and enforce an environment of strong financial controllership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Fluent in business English, both verbal and written

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei
- Experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
