Job summary

Sapio Sciences is seeking a skilled FP&A professional to own monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning for assigned business units. You will build financial models, perform variance analysis, and track key SaaS metrics to drive strategic decisions.

In collaboration with Commercial, Sales Operations, Delivery, and Finance, you will prepare board decks, investor reporting, and executive presentations, while supporting ASC 606 implementation and contract-related

Qualifications

• Forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling capabilities applied to SaaS and life sciences roles.
• Experience with ASC 606 and contract-related accounting in complex environments.
• Strong ability to analyze pricing, discounts, and quote-to-cash processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process for assigned business units.
• Build financial models, provide variance analysis, and track operating KPIs and SaaS metrics.
• Prepare board decks, investor reporting, and executive presentations.
• Support ASC 606 application to complex SaaS and life sciences contracts.
• Review customer contracts and assist with technical accounting memos and audits.
• Partner with Commercial, Sales Operations, Delivery, Finance, and Legal on contract structuring.
• Analyze pricing models, discounting practices, and deal structures to evaluate margin and revenue impact.
• Benchmark pricing to inform go-to-market strategy and maintain quote-to-cash workflows.
• Support vendor negotiations, spend analysis, and procurement policy improvements.
• Contribute to long-range strategic planning and scenario modeling.
• Identify process improvements across FP&A, close, and reporting workflows.
• Support system implementations that enhance planning, billing, and cross-functional alignment.
