Job summary

Figma is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our growing finance team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting. You will own monthly revenue close activities, review contracts for proper ASC 606 implementation, and partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting.
• Experience working in a high-growth SaaS technology environment.
• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of ASC 606, including reviewing and interpreting contracts.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate execution of monthly revenue accounting close activities and deliverables (i.e. journal entries, deal review, and reporting).
• Collaborate cross functionally with business partners, including Sales and Legal, during contract negotiations and provide accounting guidance to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Review revenue contracts in detail, identifying and documenting any non-standard terms to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and ASC 606.
• Author, update, and maintain revenue recognition policies and accounting memos to support Figma contract structures.
• Develop scalable revenue accounting processes and drive automation initiatives in partnership with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Engineering.
• Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, UAT, and ad hoc analyses as business needs evolve.
