Job summary

ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in access solutions, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for the Corporate Finance team in New Haven, CT. The role drives financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close with OneStream and Excel-based tooling.

You will partner across finance, accounting, and business teams to deliver accurate reporting, analyze variances, and support acquisitions, restatements, and process improvements. 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or month-end close.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; GAAP experience required and IFRS exposure preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and large data set analysis.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream reporting and creating Excel reports using OneStream queries.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations using OneStream data and Excel reporting tools.
• Build and update Excel reports using OneStream queries to support reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Assist with management PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and trend analysis vs. plan.
• Analyze financial results and variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare intercompany allocations and related documentation.
• Support internal controls, audits, and accounting process documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams to gather data and explain results.
• Support acquisitions integrations and purchase accounting as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
