Job summary

Sphera, a leading global provider of environmental, health, safety and sustainability software and services, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance forecasting, planning and reporting for the Services/Consulting business. You will maintain BI infrastructure, prepare KPI reporting, and support senior leadership with ad-hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with 2–4 years in public accounting (Big 4) or 3–5 years as a financial analyst.
• Alteryx and PowerBI fluency required.
• Advanced Excel (strong modeling) and intermediate PowerPoint required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities.
• NetSuite and Salesforce experience are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Finance data & analytics; maintain and improve Alteryx workflows and PowerBI reports across Finance pillars.
• Prepare financial and operational KPIs (bookings, pipeline, win rates, ASP) and identify opportunities to improve results.
• Assist in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for Services/Consulting; analyze results vs budgets and reforecast as needed.
• Construct financial models for recurring forecasting, annual budgeting, and pro-forma scenarios for growth opportunities.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly reporting presentations for the Executive team and Board meetings.
• Support M&A activities including post-acquisition data and systems integration.
• Perform ad-hoc deep dives on pressing business issues across the company.
