Job summary

Allegion Fontana, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with plant leaders to drive cost controls, month-end close, and management reporting. You will analyze variances, establish standard costs, track CERs, and support forecasting and budgeting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 4–6 years of manufacturing finance experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office; experience with Dynamics 365 or ERP implementations is a plus.

• 4-6 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Proficiency with GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Work with plant leaders to drive process improvements and elimination of non-value activities.
• Month End Closing Process - including financial analysis, researching discrepancies, account reconciliations, and plant reporting.
• Management Reporting and Analysis - prepare weekly and monthly management reports and use reports to drive improvements and escalation of issues.
• Perform cost analysis/cost-rolls, manufacturing variance analysis, including standard cost establishment.
• CER (capital expenditure request) project tracking, assist on CER analysis and provide monthly spend details.
• Provide forecasting and budgeting support.
• Projects and special assignments, audit support, physical inventory, and other projects.
• Maintain a robust internal control environment to ensure GAAP compliance and participate in SOX testing.

What You Will Do:

• Work with plant leaders to drive process improvements and elimination of non-value activities.

• Provide Forecasting and Budgeting support

• Compliance: Maintain a robust and effective internal control environment to ensure accounting procedures are compliant with GAAP and FICAP
• Participate in Sarbanes Oxley testing reporting, with emphasis on prevention, elimination, and timely close-out of control deficiencies

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-6 years of hands‑on experience
• Experience within a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Must be able to influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical thinker.
• Must be willing to spend time in the details to solve problems.
• Ability to explain and communicate financial results to management in an understandable and actionable format for decision‑making purposes.
• Strong skills in MS Office applications.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Compensation:

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The expected Base Salary Range: $75,000-$115,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
