Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to develop and maintain program financial plans across multiple products and business areas. You will work with Program Management, Finance, and Technical staff to ensure accurate budgets, EACs, and cost controls.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience, advanced Excel, and ERP/SCM/CRM familiarity. Expect interaction with customers and contract negotiations, with a strong emphasis on compliance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in costing and pricing of complex development programs.
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of program financial plans including budgets and EACs.
• Compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations.
• Analyze cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.
• Prepare project control/financial analysis reports for distribution to customer/user organization.
• Develop complex cost and pricing models.
• Support in proposal cost estimates, assist with DCAA audits, and contract negotiations as needed.
• Administer complex financial analyses (variance, risk, P&L).
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and report trends with recommendations.
