Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst III in Sunrise, FL to develop and maintain program financial plans across multiple products and business areas.

You will partner with Program Management, Planning, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment between operations and financial outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration and 5–8 years of experience, with advanced Excel and knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, or reporting in a program finance, operations finance, or FP&A environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including large datasets and complex models.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and enterprise data environments (e.g., Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Supports execution of program financial plans and forecasts with Program Finance, Planning, Operations, and Subcontracts.
• Liaises between Finance, Planning, Operations, and Program Management to ensure cross-team alignment.
• Monitors progress of program requirements and analyzes cost and revenue performance against plan.
• Prepares financial analysis and reporting for stakeholders and leadership.
• Identifies and drives process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
