Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Manager – Financial Analysis and Reporting to lead financial planning and analysis for Directed Energy programs. You will drive performance, align program execution with corporate objectives, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities include monthly analyses, budgets, forecasts, variance communication, and mentoring junior analysts. A strong finance background with ERP/EPM experience (Hyperion/Oracle) and advanced Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (or 4 years in lieu).
• 5–7 years in program finance or financial analysis roles.
• Experience managing a team of employees.
• Experience with ERP and EPM systems; Hyperion, Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial and budget reports to develop observations and recommendations.
• Partner with Program Managers, Contracts, Engineering and Operations for alignment.
• Communicate variances to management and monitor headcount and spending.
