Job summary

RingCentral is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for COGS to lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Subscription COGS and IT. You will partner with operational leaders to identify cost drivers and opportunities for efficiency.

You will build financial models, run scenario analyses, and mentor a small offshore team, delivering actionable insights to senior finance and business stakeholders. Experience with Anaplan and advanced Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Looking for someone with public and private cloud COGS experience.
• Excellent data analysis, modeling, and ability to influence partners with numbers.
• Background of supporting CTO/Technology org in the past.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with Anaplan would be great.
• Lead automation projects using AI/analytics tools like Anaplan, ChatGPT, Tableau.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Subscription COGS and IT functions.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide insights into cost drivers and savings opportunities.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support investment and cost optimization decisions.
• Monitor monthly performance vs. budget and deliver variance analyses and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and reporting.
• Lead and mentor a small offshore team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Present findings to senior finance leadership and business stakeholders clearly.
• Automate the unit COGS model and extract data from internal systems.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Revenue, and IT teams on ad-hoc requests.
