Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Minimum five years of financial management experience with USCG/DoD/DoS programs.
• Experience with inter-agency financial agreements (MIPR, IAA, 7600).
• Understanding of budget formulation and execution principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage funding authority from State and related agencies for Coast Guard training activities.
• Review budgets, prepare funding requests, and support execution of funding documents.
• Transfer funds, monitor obligations, and reconcile transactions in Coast Guard systems.
• Prepare quarterly and ad hoc reports, and analyze budgetary data for management.
• Advise clients on financial matters and assist with audits.
