Capital One seeks a Senior Associate, Financial Analyst to act as a thought-leader and analytical partner within Card External Planning & Analysis. You will drive insights, partner with Card leaders, and translate macro trends into measurable impacts on performance.

The role emphasizes analytics, storytelling, and collaboration with Card Finance, Strategy, CRM, and other teams to support high-impact presentations to Card leaders and the Board.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination.
• Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
• Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CFM preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in both financial analysis and financial modeling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• 2+ years of experience partnering with senior leaders and internal stakeholders.
• 1+ years of experience using SQL, Python, or a combination.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic leadership: Partner with senior leaders to address high-leverage, high-visibility challenges throughout our Card business.
• Storytelling: Present to senior management on learnings, opportunities, and proposed solutions.
• Analysis: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
• Partnership: Work closely with partners across Card to understand and address challenges across tech, credit, operations, and more.
• Teamwork: Invest in the development of peer analysts in your org, helping them to develop as storytellers, analysts, and business leaders.
