Job summary

Corporation Service Company (CSC) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Wilmington, DE. You will act as the direct financial advisor to CSC's cybersecurity business unit, shaping detailed business plans and identifying value opportunities to improve performance.

You will lead quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, analyze top-line results, and build Power BI dashboards while managing day-to-day financial activities for the unit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience preparing / analyzing budgets & forecasts, including financial analysis / financial planning for a medium or large company.
• Capital investment planning, analysis and management.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends, financial modeling techniques, and emerging tools.
• Strong data analysis and data mining experience, including database query functionality in Microsoft Access, Business Objects, or other reporting tools.
• Experience working in Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase or similar financial systems.
• Thorough understanding of financial metrics and accounting principles as well as knowledge of US GAAP Accounting standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred) and Power BI, including dashboard creation.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the company, with a strong focus on senior management.
• Self-motivated with ability to operate independently within a team structure.
• Strong organizational and process improvement skills with attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects, shift priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the direct financial advisor to CSC's cybersecurity business unit; create detailed business plans and identify value creation opportunities.
• Gather, mine and analyze sales and operations data and make recommendations for action based on conclusions of the analysis.
• Lead the business unit's quarterly forecast and annual budget process, including revenue and expenses as well as capital investment planning.
• Work with business partners at all levels to analyze top-line performance and prepare findings for senior management.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards; manage day-to-day financial operational activities for the supported area.
