Coordinate with investment banks, attorneys, auditors, consultants, and other external advisors.
Develop investor presentations, management presentations, and board materials.
Build PowerPoint presentations that clearly communicate complex financial and strategic concepts.
Translate financial analysis and regulatory considerations into concise, executive-level materials.
Prepare executive summaries and other materials for senior management, investors, and strategic partners.
Support due diligence processes and investor communications.
Evaluate strategic initiatives and potential transactions from a financial perspective.
Assess capital allocation and financing strategies.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis across aerospace, defense, satellite communications, telecommunications, and emerging technology markets.
Monitor relevant industry, regulatory, and capital markets developments.
Partner directly with senior leadership on time-sensitive financial and strategic projects.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3-7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in:
Investment Banking
Capital Markets
Private Equity
Corporate Development
Strategic Finance
Corporate Finance
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Experience building financial models and analyses from the ground up.
Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business judgment and the ability to understand the business context behind the numbers.
Investment banking experience within TMT, aerospace & defense, telecommunications, or related sectors.
Experience supporting IPOs, SPACs, PIPEs, private placements, or other significant financing transactions.
Capital markets or leveraged finance experience.
Experience with public-company processes and SEC reporting.
Exposure to aerospace, satellite communications, spectrum, telecommunications, defense technology, or related industries.
MBA, CFA, or relevant professional certification.
The ideal candidate will have the technical foundation of a strong investment banker combined with the adaptability and entrepreneurial mindset required in a growth-stage company.
This person should be comfortable building the numbers, understanding the business behind them, and turning the analysis into a compelling presentation or recommendation. They should be able to move seamlessly between detailed financial modeling and high-level discussions with executives, investors, investment banks, and external advisors.
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, self-directed, resourceful, and capable of becoming productive quickly with limited direction. This is a role for someone who can take an ambiguous problem, determine what analysis is needed, build it, and communicate the conclusion clearly.
