Job description

Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, where you'll help transform complex business questions into actionable financial insights. This highly visible role offers direct exposure to planning, forecasting, capital allocation decisions, board reporting, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. We are seeking an analytically driven professional with intellectual curiosity, strong financial modeling capabilities, and a passion for solving complex business challenges.

Best-in-Class Benefits and Culture:

We value our employees' time and efforts. Our commitment to your success is enhanced by a competitive compensation package of $110,000 to $125,000 salary, 10% target bonus, and a comprehensive benefits program, including:

  • Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Robust retirement planning with 401(k) and employer matching
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Health savings and flexible spending accounts
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Employee assistance program
  • Flexible work arrangements and hybrid work option

Plus, we work to maintain the best environment for our employees, where people can learn and grow with the company. We strive to provide a collaborative, creative environment where everyone feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning, and culture.

To succeed as the Senior Financial Analyst, you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or comparable analytical experience
  • Experience with EPM/CPM platforms such as Vena, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Planful, or OneStream, along with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong structure and auditability
  • Working knowledge of three-statement mechanics — able to explain how the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement connect, and to build driver-based schedules within an existing model
  • Intellectual curiosity, rigor, and honesty that is consistently accurate under tight deadlines
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; prioritizes independently and knows when to seek direction
  • Highly coachable; seeks and applies feedback quickly
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and board-level reporting, with progress toward CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials preferred
Your responsibilities as the Senior Financial Analyst will include:
  • Translate open-ended business questions into structured financial analyses and recommendations
  • Analyze unit economics, contribution margins, and cost-to-serve metrics
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of revenue, profitability, cost drivers, and operational performance
  • Develop ROI analyses and business cases for capital investments and strategic initiatives
  • Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
  • Monitor and explain budget-to-actual variances and identify risks and opportunities
  • Support and maintain driver-based financial models and forecasting tools
  • Serve as backup for recurring management reporting functions
  • Prepare schedules, exhibits, and analyses for executive and Board materials
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance and insights
  • Improve reporting processes through automation and standardization
  • Support data integrity and reporting initiatives across finance and operational systems
If you're a highly analytical professional looking for direct CFO mentorship and the opportunity to influence business decisions at a strategic level, we encourage you to apply today.
