Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to drive accurate financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. You will partner with Department and Business Unit managers to enable informed decisions and improve results, reporting to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities include leading budgeting processes, variance analysis, and month-end close activities while leveraging Oracle EPM, Hyperion, SmartView, FCC and Power BI to enhance reporting and performance across functions and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• 5+ years of significant financial experience, majority as Financial Analyst.
• Advanced financial modelling and reporting skills.
• Experience with Oracle EPM, Hyperion Planning, SmartView, FCC, Power BI.
• IFRS knowledge or strong accounting principles.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Strong concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong business sense to drive profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the budget/quarterly forecast processes, including data collection, upload, data integrity and validation.
• Analyze results including Actuals, Forecasts and Budgets, KPI trends, and overheads.
• Forensically review financials to identify errors and reduce future impacts.
• Participate in Month end close activities with financial analysis and journal entries.
• Prepare Monthly & Quarterly Business Review Report Packs.
• Monitor overhead budget with variance analysis and risk/opportunity view.
• Ensure high quality presentations and accurate information dissemination.
• Drive an internal control framework to assess health of the business.
• Ad-hoc business analysis as required.
• Assist in developing reporting and analysis to improve future performance.
