Job summary

Verisk Analytics, Inc. seeks a hands-on Oracle EPM Cloud expert to own and evolve the planning platform powering budget, re-forecasts, and multi-year plans. You will translate business questions into models, automations, AI-driven insights, and trusted reports for FP&A.

You will manage and mentor one team member, setting priorities and reviewing work across the platform, while partnering with IT and security to deploy AI responsibly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience building and supporting FP&A systems on the Oracle Hyperion / EPM suite, with at least 3 years hands-on in EPBCS or EPM Cloud Planning.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI/ML or generative AI solutions for finance (e.g., Oracle IPM Insights, Python, or LLM-based tools).
• Strong command of Essbase (BSO/ASO), calculation scripts, business rules, and Groovy scripting.
• Experience with data integration, metadata management, user security, and process automation, including scripting (PowerShell, Python, or batch).
• Experience building automated reporting solutions (e.g., Oracle Financial Reports or Narrative Reporting, Power BI, or scheduled Smart View reporting).
• Expert-level Smart View and Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of corporate and business-unit planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and tune the Oracle EPBCS/EPM Cloud Planning application, including dimensions, forms, business rules, and security.
• Own the FP&A systems AI roadmap, from identifying and sizing use cases to production.
• Embed AI and ML in the platform, including Oracle IPM Insights and Predictive Planning forecasts.
• Build AI assistants and automations to enable finance users to query data in plain language.
• Partner with IT, data governance, and security to deploy AI responsibly with controls and training.
• Develop driver-based revenue growth and cost allocation models for profitability reporting.
• Create cash flow forecasting linking operating plans, working capital drivers, and balance sheet forecasts.
• Align planning structures with accounting actuals and COA.
• Build and maintain automated data and metadata integrations and resolve load failures.
• Maintain data integrity through reconciliation routines and controls.
