Job summary

Brightwheel is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to join our analytics-driven team. You will own and automate core financial models for two business lines: acquisition and Education, ensuring data is clean, defined, and actionable.

You will work with SQL, Redshift, and AI coding tools to build dashboards and self-serve reports, influencing planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions across the company.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Ability to read and interrogate SQL outputs and verify answers.
• Experience using SQL-based data sources and BI tools.
• Experience building financial models for multiple business lines.

Responsibilities

• Support two business areas simultaneously: core acquisition and Education.
• Own headcount planning, rep productivity, compensation, and forecasting models.
• Own Education models: order volume, product cost, inventory, margin, ARR.
• Maintain clean, current, and well-structured models.
• Build foundational datasets, definitions, and context layers for automated analysis.
• Create automated workflows using AI coding tools to refresh models and pull data.
• Pull and validate data via SQL and Redshift; handle ad hoc requests.
• Build self-serve dashboards for both areas to minimize manual queries.
• Flag data quality issues, gaps in methodology, or reporting inconsistencies.
