Job summary

Brightwheel is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to join our data-driven finance team. You will own two business areas—core acquisition and Education economics—building and maintaining models, dashboards, and automated workflows.

You will leverage SQL, Redshift, Excel/Sheets, and AI tools to deliver timely insights and scalable reporting. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in strategic finance, experience reading SQL, and a track record of turning data into action in a fast-moving

Qualifications

4+ years in strategic finance or similar field.
Ability to read, dissect and diagnose SQL queries.
Experience using AI coding tools as a default approach.
Excel or Sheets-based financial modeling with accuracy.
Experience owning end-to-end recurring financial/operational reports.

Responsibilities

Support two business parts: core acquisition and Education economics.
Own models for headcount, rep productivity, compensation, and forecasting.
Own Education models: order volume, cost, inventory, margin, ARR.
Maintain clean, current, and well-structured models.
Build foundational datasets, definitions, and context layers for automated analysis.
Create automated workflows using AI coding tools for data pulls and reporting.
Pull and validate data via SQL and Redshift.
Build self-serve dashboards for both areas.
Flag data quality issues and methodological gaps early.
