Full Glass Wine (FGW) is a venture-backed brand acquisition and management firm focused on rapidly acquiring direct-to-consumer (“DTC”) wine companies to build a multi-brand wine marketplace. We are revolutionizing the DTC wine industry with a focus on leveraging strategic investments to drive growth and operational efficiency, ensuring each brand reaches its full potential while maintaining its unique identity.

The Senior Financial Analyst is essential in providing data-driven insights, financial modeling, and process improvements to drive our company’s growth and profitability. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will manage both recurring and ad hoc analyses, collaborating closely with Accounting, Data, Marketing and Field sales teams to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s financial strategy and driving growth. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll work within a collaborative team, engaging directly with cross-functional departments and impacting key strategic initiatives.

Oversight And Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis (60%)

  • Accurately deliver recurring reports, with minimal supervision, by automating processes to improve reporting speed and reliability.
  • Build and maintain financial models that allow for easy updates and are accessible to key stakeholders.
  • Assist with forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, helping the FP&A team meet financial and operational targets.

Ad Hoc Analysis (40%)

  • Conduct ROI analyses and post-mortem reviews to assess the success of promotions, incentives, and other initiatives, providing insights into trends and making strategic recommendations.
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner, with minimal supervisory support.

Strategic & Process Improvement

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvements that enhance efficiency and profitability, and support sales/marketing teams with forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline financial reporting and planning processes, driving continuous improvement across financial functions.
  • Interpret financial data and analyze the financial impact of compensation plans, including commissions, incentives, and promotions, to ensure alignment with growth and margin targets.
  • Create recurring reports for the Sales & Marketing teams to communicate and track compensation, retention, activation rates, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate commission accuracy and timely payouts.
  • Develop relevant dashboards to increase visibility across teams and help teams align to strategic objectives.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings by analyzing data, offering strategic recommendations, and supporting overall strategy development.
  • Partner with the technology and data analytics teams to improve reporting features and enhance usability for internal stakeholders and field teams.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to extract and interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to cope in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage a wide range of tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present financial data and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Curious and proactive mindset with attention to details and desire to learn, be challenged, and improve processes.
