Senior Accountant

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in Texas for on-site meetings)

Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 + Bonus

Plan2Placement is partnering with a high-growth Tech company in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the company’s financial operations. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement as the company continues its rapid expansion.

While this position is remote, preference will be given to candidates located in Texas for periodic on-site meetings in Dallas, TX.

We have already successfully placed the Controller and CFO roles with this company and are excited to help them find their next key finance team member!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance processes.
• Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Support the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and tax obligations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning and analysis initiatives.
• Support audits, tax filings, and reporting processes.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the Tech industry or a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Preference for candidates residing in Texas for on-site meetings.
